About Tours Apply Testimonials   What exactly is SaWUSA?   Hi , Probably the most difficult task we have is explaining who we are and what we do. Often parents or athletes come across our info and say something to us like, "so, you are like an International AAU team" or "so, this is like a just for fun thing for like leadership or whatever" or "so, like any kid can do this". No, No, and No.   The reality is, we are not 'like' anything. We are a very unique experience that isn't very easy to explain. This is on purpose. We tend to think most of the experiences in youth sports aren't all that great. We aren't for everyone. We might not be a good fit for you. But before you dismiss this opportunity as something you think is 'like' something else you've heard of - I'd encourage you to dig deeper into exactly what our tours are all about.   The best place to start is our former traveler testimonials. We've taken thousands of travelers overseas. They can tell you in their own words what the experience ended up meaning to them. Many of the testimonials start with, "I was skeptical at first" or something like that. LOG IN HERE   So, What is SaWUSA About? International Athletic Competition   It all starts with the International Athletic competition. Putting on a USA jersey and representing your country is special. You will remember it for the rest of your life.  Athletic Development   So many athletes worry about getting noticed by colleges or professional scouts. What about getting better? You will step out of your comfort zone on a tour like this. Push yourself to compete on this stage and become a better athlete. Coaching and Development   Our coaches help push you to improve as athletes and as leaders. Most of our coaches are current college coaches. So, if playing in college is a goal of yours, this is a great way to see where you stand and what it takes. Be an Ambassador   A Spaniard, a German, and an American walk into a bar... No punchline, just something cool that makes for great memories. In this picture one of each get to know each other after competing together for a weekend at the same position. Unique experiences like this are common on our tours.  History and Culture   Here are a few of our athletes in front of the Anne Frank house in Amsterdam. Seeing history and culture first hand is incredibly powerful. It will make you a better student and a better person. Family Vacation   Our tours make for great family vacations - whether that is quality time with just one parent or the whole extended family. Our tours provide awesome opportunities to create lifetime memories. Patriotism   Many of our events feature teams from many countries competing together. This is a great way to show your pride for your country and be an ambassador, while also learning about other countries as well. Be a Mentor   Our athletes have opportunities to make a difference in the lives of the people we meet. It's common for young athletes around the World to connect with our teams. Some of these turn into lifelong friends and mentors. Grow as a Person   Here our athletes have traded shirts with a team from Eastern Europe. What better way is there to better understand other people than by actually meeting other people? Community Service   Here our teams take part in a free basketball clinic for the Youth in Barbados. We try to make giving back a part of each of our tours. Develop a Passion for Travel   International travel will make you a better, and more successful person. Studies prove it. Get that passion started early - while you still have time.
